In the fall, students spend a week off campus for Outdoor Science Education. This age-appropriate program offers students the opportunity to learn environmental science in the outdoors and participate in team building activities.

In the Spring, all of our students, after having prepared throughout the year, explore a particular topic in depth while traveling out and about in Marin County.  This is an interdisciplinary, inquiry-based program, led by the students and supported by the teachers. The students will kayak, explore tide pools, and hike the mountains to explore creeks and reservoirs to learn how water is essential to our life.
