Alumni Statements:

"Good Shepherd Lutheran School is a unique, dynamic and inspirational setting for children to become leaders both locally and around the world. When I moved to California in 2000, the GSLS community welcomed me with open arms! I have always felt right at home, at GSLS, from the beginning of preschool until my graduation from middle school. As I progress through high school and begin to apply for college, I am still grateful for the academic, social, and moral foundations that GSLS installed in me. The most important lesson I learned at GSLS was that every single person has a unique set of ideas that, when shared with others, can change the world. I learned how to cooperate, communicate and connect. These skills cannot be learned from a textbook, they must be drawn from an extraordinary community like GSLS."

-Kenny Larsen- Senior at Sonoma Academy. Attended GSLS from pre-school through middle school

"Good Shepherd Lutheran School is where I began learning- even after my student days, a hobby I will forever pursue. The teachers and staff are engaging and nurturing. I will always remember my time at GSLS as some of my fondest. My creativity, natural talents and abilities were important to GSLS- where I honed excellent public speaking skills in Drama and exceptional writing skills in Language Arts. I now do Public Relations for the #1 premium wine producer in the world. I owe my current success to my outstanding start!"

-Hannah Simon-Graduated from San Marin High School and UC Irvine. Attended GSLS from preschool through 5th Grade

"My years at GSLS had a huge impact on me. Being a small class, we bonded right away. We were so close. We were able to fall back on each other and we felt like a family. The relationships formed at GSLS are still so important to me! The teachers at GSLS are the greatest mentors I could ask for. They are people of integrity and good morals. They try their hardest to help us learn. The teachers integrated academics with fun activities. I like that the teachers knew me and cared about me. It was difficult to leave GSLS but I still stop by to see my teachers whenever I can."
