The Drama Program is an integral part of the curriculum for the third through the eighth grade students. Third through fifth graders play theater and improvisational games to increase their confidence and to learn theater basics. Every student performs in a school musical production in the spring. Drama training for each grade level builds each year, and it prepares students for more in-depth drama studies in their middle school years.
Thanks to the exceptional wisdom and expertise in her trade, Gretchen Simon has transformed students not only into actors, but given these students the self-confidence of public speaking that is so important in everyday life.
This year's performance was “The Wizard of Oz.” It was a spectacular 3 day, 4 show performance. Our student's really brought out the best in each character.
