    At GSLS, it is our people—the relationships between teachers, students, parents, and staff—who make our school so special. The GSLS community is often noted as the highlight of the student and family experience. This is only possible thanks to a concerted effort from each of us to ensure our school continues to foster a shared sense of belonging.
At GSLS, parental involvement in school activities is strongly encouraged. Helping to make our students successful is a shared responsibility for us all, and we treasure this partnership.

It is the mission of the Parent Teacher Council (PTC) to support the administration and teaching staff through the many talents and resources of our parents. 

The Parent Teacher Council supports GSLS by:
  • Promoting unity, cooperation, and involvement within the GSLS family.
  • Fostering open and accurate communication between parents and the school.
  • Sponsoring Events
    • The Parent Teacher Council promotes community and raises funds to enrich our children’s experience beyond the school’s operating budget. Regardless of the amount of time, talent, or treasure you have to give - there is a place for you to become involved in the life of our school through The PTC.  Whether as a member of the Parent Council Board, a committee chairperson, or a classroom volunteer, our school succeeds when parents are involved.
