At Good Shepherd, strong academics begin with knowing each student. Small classes and experienced teachers allow us to recognize individual strengths, respond to areas of need, and provide the right level of challenge to help every child grow as a confident, capable learner.

Learning at GSLS extends far beyond core academics. Students have access to an exceptional breadth of experiences  with opportunities to explore STEM, Spanish, music, art, theater, athletics, outdoor education, leadership, and more. These aren't extras, they are an important part of helping students discover their interests, develop new strengths, and become curious, well-rounded learners.

Just as important is the kind of person each student is becoming. Kindness, empathy, respect, responsibility, and compassion are woven into a school culture where children feel safe, supported, and valued.

At GSLS, students don't have to choose between being known and challenged, supported and independent, academically prepared and well-rounded. They can be all of those things.
